Who this covers

This policy explains how Engagerami handles the personal information you provide when you join our early-access list through this website, and the information the Engagerami Chrome extension collects (see Chrome extension below). Apart from the extension, it applies to the marketing site only; the Engagerami application has its own in-product terms.

What we collect

When you submit the waitlist form we collect:

  • Your email address (required).
  • The audience you identify with (e.g. marketing, sales, agency, individual).
  • Any optional details you choose to share (name, company, team size, role, or how you’d use Engagerami).
  • Basic technical context for the submission — the page you signed up from and the referring URL.

Why we collect it & lawful basis

We process the information you submit on the waitlist form on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form. We use it solely to contact you about Engagerami early access and to understand which audiences to prioritise. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing. What the Chrome extension collects, and how we use it, is described in Chrome extension below.

How long we keep it

We retain your signup details for as long as you remain on the early-access list, and for a reasonable period afterwards to manage onboarding. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so promptly.

Where it’s stored & who processes it

Signup data is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and confirmation emails are sent via our email provider (Resend). These processors handle the data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Analytics & cookies

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how this marketing site is performing — for example which pages and articles are visited and where traffic comes from. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or track you across other sites. We also record aggregate page views in PostHog (hosted in the EU). On this public marketing site we do not run session recording or behavioural “autocapture” of anonymous visitors. Because we don’t use tracking cookies or profiling here, no cookie-consent banner is required.

Chrome extension (versions up to 1.5.2)

The Engagerami Chrome extension runs in your own browser. It acts on LinkedIn only to carry out actions you queue in Engagerami, or have set Engagerami to perform automatically (such as liking posts from profiles you have starred). When you connect it, it keeps your Engagerami email address, user ID and sign-in session in the browser until you disconnect. It also keeps in the browser the profile links of LinkedIn followers it has already seen, so it can tell which followers are new, and a record of the details it has recently sent us (the profile links of new followers, and the names of people in your conversations with the date of each conversation), which it trims to the last 30 days each time it syncs. Disconnecting does not remove either; they stay in the browser until you uninstall the extension. While connected, it also tells us every 30 seconds which extension version you have and whether a LinkedIn tab is open.

LinkedIn cookies

In current versions the extension also sends all of your linkedin.com cookies to our servers, including li_at, the cookie that keeps you signed in to LinkedIn. It checks for changes when it starts or you connect it, when LinkedIn renews your sign-in cookies, and at least every six hours, and uploads the full set again whenever anything has changed, at most once every two hours unless you press “Sync LinkedIn cookies” in the extension. To stop these uploads without disconnecting, turn on “Disable cookie sync” under Advanced in the extension.

Our servers keep only two of those cookies, li_at and JSESSIONID, and discard the rest as they arrive. We store the two encrypted in our database, hosted by Supabase in the United States, where only our servers can read them. A copy stored before 2 October 2026 may still hold the full set until your extension next syncs or the copy is deleted under the 14-day rule below; we only ever use li_at and JSESSIONID from it. If a stored copy has not been refreshed for 14 days, we delete it automatically.

We use them only for the “Who viewed your profile” feature, and only if you have agreed to that. Current versions of the extension cannot ask for your agreement; you give it by ticking the consent box when you save your LinkedIn session under “Full LinkedIn Cookie Jar” on the Integrations page in Engagerami. Without it, we never use the cookies to access LinkedIn or pass them on. With it, the feature passes them to a third-party automation tool on the Apify platform (data_link_miner/linkedin-who-viewed-profile-premium), and we delete the copy held for that run once the run ends. The feature is currently paused. We keep a record of each time you give or withdraw this consent.

What the extension reads from LinkedIn

In the background, the extension opens pages of your own LinkedIn account in a minimised window and sends us:

  • your own analytics: totals for impressions, followers, reach and engagement; anonymised audience demographics; metrics for your posts; and metrics for your recent comments, with links to the posts you commented on and to their authors’ profiles;
  • the names, headlines, photos and profile links of your new followers;
  • the names, headlines, photos, profile links and connection dates of your most recent connections;
  • the names, photos and last-message dates of the people in your recent LinkedIn conversations (never the contents of your messages);
  • links to the posts you have saved, with each author’s name, headline and profile link and a preview of up to 280 characters.

All of these are on by default. Under Advanced in the extension you can turn off cookie uploads (“Disable cookie sync”), saved posts (“Disable auto-sync of saved posts”) and analytics (“Disable analytics sync”). Current versions have no switch for followers, connections or conversations. Disconnecting or uninstalling the extension stops all of it.

Deleting your cookies

Uninstalling or disconnecting the extension does not delete the cookies we already hold. To delete them, use Clear under “Full LinkedIn Cookie Jar” on the Integrations page in Engagerami, “Delete my LinkedIn session” on your profile page if your account shows it, or the delete button at engagerami.com/extension/uninstalled (current extension versions do not open this page for you when you uninstall). You can also email privacy@engagerami.com.

Deleting also withdraws your consent. From then on we store nothing the extension sends, even if cookie sync is still on, until you agree again on the Integrations page.

We plan to make cookie uploads opt-in in a future version of the extension, and will update this section when that version is released.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your information, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
